- READ IT: “Maximum Impact: Cleveland Clinic Introduces “Hospital of Future” Prototype“
Cleveland Clinic’s new Mentor Hospital marked an opportunity for the academic medical center to introduce an efficient market-entry prototype. Leveraging the resources of other nearby facilities in the system’s network, the hospital brings care closer to home within a scaled-down model.
Working in collaboration with Bostwick Design Partnership, Cleveland Clinic developed a prototype for a more efficient “hospital of the future.” This feature for Healthcare Design—one of the publication’s most-read articles of the year—details how the design team planned the small space leveraging Lean methodologies.
